I love to make: Soap, lotion, ATCs (although I'm not very artistic)

I really don’t like: Healthy food. :c

Anything extra? I'm looking for regular penpals and/or swap partners! I'd love to do any writing-focused journals, creative writing challenges, ANY kind of challenge even if I turn out to not do so well at it (it takes a challenge for me to branch out and try things), long letters, ATCs, postcards, etc.

A few words on the kind of pal I'm looking for: Talkative, nerdy- I don't have any penpals more than ten years older than me, but if we share common interests I don't think age will matter. I'm really more interested in in-depth, fangirly letters that come from loving the same things than casual "This is who I am, this is how my day went, let's talk about the weather and a few things that happened today" penpals if you know what I mean- less "general" penpals, I suppose! :)

I collect: Docorative skulls, colorful and not ultra-realistic (who wants real looking skulls in their home? Not I), Yarn (not acrylic, unless it's really nice acrylic), tea and coffee (I drink it every day, usually multiple times per day, but I have a rotating stockpile), piano and violin accoutrement for my kids, stationery (like tea and coffee, I have a rotating stockpile), postcards, dreadlock beads/coils, ear plugs/tunnels (I'm sitting and 2g, slowly getting back up to 1/2 inch again).

25 words or less, tell us about your personality: I am a rather quiet, but friendly, person. Once you get to know me though, all bets are off. I find humor in the absurd, and am fond of cynical humor and bad puns.

I am obsessed with: Glee and Supernatural. Reading.  Am trying to change my soft and mushy body into a paragon of human fitness by training for my first 5K run in August, but that's slow going. Husband is diabetic, so we're trying to find ways around eating delicious things that won't f with our blood sugar levels. I also love to cook and bake anything that looks vaguely delicious. Kitchen experimentation is where it's at!

Anything extra? I follow a Pagan path but I don't shove my beliefs down anyone's throat.  I have 3 children, a grandson, a busy life and more grey hair than I'm happy with.  I live in a tiny village where nothing ever happens so I live vicariously through my friends' letters!!!

A few words on the kind of pal I'm looking for:  you don't have to promise to write the minute you receive my letter or write on fancy paper with beautifully decorated envies.  I'm not fussy as long as you're genuone, the letter is interesting and we have at least a couple of things in common as a basis for building a friendship, and you aren't going to disappear after a couple of letters without telling me why!
